Mill Creek Service Group was founded by me, Phil Gehrisch, in 2013 and is located in the Ostrander, Ohio area in Delaware County.  I grew up exploring my father's hardware store from age five and eventually worked there before moving to the Columbus area.  My love of high quality tools, as well as mechanical training and knowledge started very early and I've never let it go. 

Originally, several business lines were created under the Mill Creek label, including home inspection services, home improvement, and contract hauling.  Home inspection services are now limited to assisting homeowners in determining what works, what doesn't, and how to make things right.  The business focus is now on home improvement and handyman services.  I am proud of the fact that I offer quality workmanship and knowledge at a reasonable price to neighbors in the area.

With the support of my wife, Susie, I operate pretty much as a one man shop, bringing in qualified help when needed.  If a particular part of the project is outside the scope of what I believe I do well, I will help coordinate with other tradespeople in the area.  I do not mark up the work of outside contractors. If your project is just not what I do, I'll let you know that, too.

I find that there is an ongoing need and plenty of work to keep me busy close to home so I limit my service area.  Advertising is almost all through word of mouth and customer referrals.  Word travels fast in this age of social media.  (The Nextdoor app seems to be the place to go for many of my customers.)  I pride myself on providing outstanding customer service in order to guarantee that all of my customers are 100% satisfied.  If you are not thrilled with our work, please tell me and I'll make it right.  Once you are happy - please tell your friends !
